Quickly approaching Christmas, Tuesday December 15th. Eco Paint had scheduled and completed an interior ceiling painting job. A 20 year home in Piney Creek owned by Terry C. a Commercial General Contractor, whom is a previous customer of 3 years ago. Terry was so pleased with our exterior painting a few years ago, having us come back taking care of his interior painting concerns. Painting approximately 700 square feet of ceiling, furniture still present, we finished in approximately 6 hours from start to finish. Using ceiling white, ceilings brightened up considerably from a dingy 20 year old pop-corn ceiling texture, to a like-new one. Terry plans having us back after the first of the year, painting the upstairs ceiling area, now knowing how less intrusive the recent one was.
Terry helped immensely taking down nic-naks and wall hangings close to the ceilings in his office, however masking everything, known in the painting industry as “Cocooning” with plastic. Bringing inside plastic airless spray rig, and all tools, the actual painting takes place. Once finished, all plastic is wrapped or folded within it’s self, leaving no footprint we were even there.
Normally this would take the average do-it-your-selfer 2-3 full days, usually spending all free time, set aside relaxing for next weeks work, and or spending time with the family. 2-3 days is conservative estimate, as I’ve heard of some home owners spending a month of weekends doing what we can do in a day or two.
